JOIN US online for a series of 13 SHORT CONCERTS over 13 WEEKS featuring professional singers and pianists of HOS, past and present, as they share music that is important to them and why.

Starting SUNDAY, MAY 2nd, @3:00pmEDT each mini concert (approximately 30 minutes) will be available to enjoy in the comfort of your own home anytime during the week until the following Saturday. The next concert will be released the following Sunday @3:00pm and will be available for the following week.

Support these young professional artists by purchasing more than one viewing link. All funds will go toward performers' professional fees.

Maeve Palmer

“Virtuoso singer” (WholeNote), and “triple-threat ... talented coloratura” (OperaCanada) Maeve Palmer is an alumna of the Rebanks Family Fellowship, and the University of Toronto (U of T) Opera School. Maeve is now pursuing her Doctorate of Music at U of T where she is studying with Prof. Lorna MacDonald. Maeve has performed in concert with New Music Concerts, Continuum Contemporary Music, Opera Atelier, Tapestry Opera, and Off-Centre Music Salon among other companies. Recent operatic roles include Susanna, Zerbinetta, and Mary Crawford (Mansfield Park). Maeve is excited to be returning to Highlands Opera Studio this summer for their online program!

Vlad Soloviev

"Described as a “pianist of fine sensitivity and rare flare” (London Free Press), Vlad Soloviev is active as a solo pianist and vocal coach. As a soloist, Vlad has performed at Weill Recital Hall (Carnegie), Salle Cortot (Paris) and more, making appearances across Canada, US, Russia, France, Italy and Sweden. Vlad has been active as a collaborator at the UofT Opera School, Highlands Opera Studio, Classic Lyric Arts (Italy), as well as a teaching artist at the Canadian Opera Company. Vlad is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (MMus), Mannes College (PSD) and UofT (MMus Collaborative Piano). Vlad loves you all."
